SNAKES...SNAKES...SNAKES!!

I just want to express how much I hate snakes! Chris killed a mohave rattlesnake by our back door monday evening next to our trash can, just after I put a dirty diaper in it! I never heard it rattle, but saw it as I was walking back up the steps to the door. Then he killed another one this morning on the other side of the steps. This one didn't rattle either, he saw it as he was walking up the steps too. They were both coiled up ready to strike. So all of you beware that they are out, and for some reason not rattling. I am now officially putting my kids on house arrest. My neighbor killed one on sunday evening as well, so we will not be going outside until about november i figure!! For those of you that don't know me to well, I am deathly afraid of snakes. I pray that we don't find anymore around our house.

Trip to Mt Graham

On Sunday we took a ride up Mt. Graham. It was so nice and cool. It rained on us about half the time, but we still had fun. We drove all the way up past Riggs Lake to pretty much a dead end. Colby thought it was so cool to be on the very top! About half way up we were driving thru the clouds and the kids thought it was amazing. Colby wanted to ride on them!! We went for a walk and ended up at a little creek that the kids played in and just sat and relaxed.

So Rochelle has a great idea I think. We could all use new and easy recipes. So she asked anyone who wants to join in to do so, so here is mine. Hope you all join in, I'm all for something new.

Summertime Chicken

3-4 Boneless-Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 box Restraunt Style Croutons
Honey Mustard Salad Dressing
Orange Juice

Cut chicken into strips. Mix 3/4 c honey mustard dressing with 2 Tbls orange juice. While croutons are still in the bag, crush them into small pieces. Dip chicken into dressing mixture, then roll in croutons. Place onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 20 min.

We always like to make another batch of the dressing mixture as a dipping sauce for the chicken while eating. This is really easy, and really good. Hope you enjoy!
