Turkey Makes Me Sick

So I just got a call from the school nurse telling me that Colby threw up on the playground. She said that he told her he threw up because he "doesn't like turkey!" LOL Today was the Thanksgiving dinner at his school and I went and joined him. I made him take 3 bites of turkey along with dressing, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. He was just fine when I left. She said that he wasn't running a fever so she gave him a tums and he said that he was all better and wanted to go play now! Little turkey will do anything not to have to eat new foods!!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Attention All, I actually Updated!!!

LOL, I'm pretty shocked myself. I've updated this and facebook. I'm on a roll today. I've cleaned house, finished my book (Tempted, which was really good by the way) and did all the updating. What am I going to do now?? I would like to say THANK GOD FOOTBALL IS OVER. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but I am so ready to have our Saturday's back. They had their last game on Saturday against Wilcox. It was a close game, but we pulled thru and won. That put us in 1st place for flag, our season was 6 wins and 2 losses. Colby really enjoyed playing and can't wait until next yr.

I believe we have a little break before our next adventure which will be welcoming baby Corey who is expected in just a few more weeks. I can't wait for Cleve to be a dad. ;) Then the craziness of the holidays will be here. ;)

Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year. We took the kids to the Annual Halloween Carnival at the Solomon School on Friday. As always they had a blast! On sat we headed out for trick or treating, or as we like to call it....driving all over graham county. We just drive around to grandparents and call it good. Sad but true, our kids have never actually "trick or treated". We started on our way to Pima about dark. We got to my mom's and as we get out of the truck, the kids are walking up the sidewalk and finally notice my mom and jay sitting on the porch swing dressed up like a witch and monster. She is so awesome. She had dry ice all around, and all kinds of spiders set around. The kids did a quick pause and re-assessed the area and realized who they were. Glad Becca didn't get scared. Then we headed to Chris's parents and were going to actually let them go to the houses down the street, but nobody even had their lights on. What has happened to kids trick or treating?? I've never been to a trunk or treat, but it just can't be the same as going from door to door. ????????? Oh well, the kids still got way to much candy, and now Chris and I have to eat it!!!!

Colby's 6th Birthday

Colby turned 6 last month. I can really not believe that he is that old. He is doing GREAT in school, and loves playing football. He had a Mario Bros Birthday. We got him a BB Gun, but I'm an awesome mom and forgot to charge the camera so these are the only pic's we got of the party!!!!
