"Snow" Much Fun

On Saturday we headed up the mountain to play in the snow. It was pretty chilly, but we had a good time. The kids sledded, built a tiny snowman, and had a snowball fight. I love that we live so close to the mountain that we can go play for a couple hours and not have to drive all day to do it.

Colby is getting ready to drop kick frosty's head!! Yes that's Becca sitting in the truck with the heater on. That was where she hung out--she is such a girl :)

Chris sledding with the kiddo's

She just crawled around in it because it was to slippery for her to walk.

Turkey Makes Me Sick

So I just got a call from the school nurse telling me that Colby threw up on the playground. She said that he told her he threw up because he "doesn't like turkey!" LOL Today was the Thanksgiving dinner at his school and I went and joined him. I made him take 3 bites of turkey along with dressing, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. He was just fine when I left. She said that he wasn't running a fever so she gave him a tums and he said that he was all better and wanted to go play now! Little turkey will do anything not to have to eat new foods!!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Welcome Baby Corey

I want to congratulate my brother Cleve and his wife Misty on the newest addition to their family. She was born on Sat Nov 21st. She looks just like her daddy!!

Attention All, I actually Updated!!!

LOL, I'm pretty shocked myself. I've updated this and facebook. I'm on a roll today. I've cleaned house, finished my book (Tempted, which was really good by the way) and did all the updating. What am I going to do now?? I would like to say THANK GOD FOOTBALL IS OVER. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but I am so ready to have our Saturday's back. They had their last game on Saturday against Wilcox. It was a close game, but we pulled thru and won. That put us in 1st place for flag, our season was 6 wins and 2 losses. Colby really enjoyed playing and can't wait until next yr.

I believe we have a little break before our next adventure which will be welcoming baby Corey who is expected in just a few more weeks. I can't wait for Cleve to be a dad. ;) Then the craziness of the holidays will be here. ;)

Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year. We took the kids to the Annual Halloween Carnival at the Solomon School on Friday. As always they had a blast! On sat we headed out for trick or treating, or as we like to call it....driving all over graham county. We just drive around to grandparents and call it good. Sad but true, our kids have never actually "trick or treated". We started on our way to Pima about dark. We got to my mom's and as we get out of the truck, the kids are walking up the sidewalk and finally notice my mom and jay sitting on the porch swing dressed up like a witch and monster. She is so awesome. She had dry ice all around, and all kinds of spiders set around. The kids did a quick pause and re-assessed the area and realized who they were. Glad Becca didn't get scared. Then we headed to Chris's parents and were going to actually let them go to the houses down the street, but nobody even had their lights on. What has happened to kids trick or treating?? I've never been to a trunk or treat, but it just can't be the same as going from door to door. ????????? Oh well, the kids still got way to much candy, and now Chris and I have to eat it!!!!

Colby's 6th Birthday

Colby turned 6 last month. I can really not believe that he is that old. He is doing GREAT in school, and loves playing football. He had a Mario Bros Birthday. We got him a BB Gun, but I'm an awesome mom and forgot to charge the camera so these are the only pic's we got of the party!!!!

Our Baby Girl is 1

Today is Macie's 1st birthday! I can not believe how fast the last year has flown by. Just in the last 2 weeks she has mastered walking, quit nursing and now turned one. She is no longer my baby, she is now a toddler. I'm a little sad because this is probably (Chris said no probably about it--lol) my last one so I was wanting this to not go by so fast. Oh well it's here and she is doing great so I'll quite whining!!

The kid's wheel barrel that Chris was taking her for rides in today. She loved it.

Go Broncos!!

Colby is playing flag football. His team is the Broncos and he is #11. Bryant and Kayden are also on his team. This was their 1st game, it was against the Morenci Jaguars and they won. They played so good. It was such a shock to watch them, they actually run plays. We were so used to soccer and the chaos that we were not expecting to see organized plays. Anyways, he loves it and we are glad because he has a game every week thru the end of Oct!!

He is such a ham, posing as usual

He is in the middle of the picture running toward Bryant who was pulling the flag.

Labor Day Weekend

We went up to Alpine camping over Labor Day weekend. We had a blast as usual. It rained alot, which let me tell you...makes a huge mess when you have a crawling baby!! We got to see quite a few elk, turkey but only a couple of deer. Chris celebrated his b-day while we were up there. Of course when we came home Chris had to kill another snake in the front yard that night. When will it end??

One way to keep her out of the mud

Colby trying tricks...no we don't let him ride like that- he was stuck and turned to pose!!

Becca & Tymbr painted the blocks and then built them into a castle

Callie's Visit

Callie came down in August for about 2 weeks. The kids were really excited to see her....well all of us were. We miss her so much, but glad that she has gone out on her own to make her life her own. We went to Roosavelt Lake for the weekend and she had us all riding the tube except Macie. It was a blast! The kids LOVED it.

Colby goes to Kindergarden

Today was Colby's first day of Kindergarden. He was pretty excited to get there this morning. He walked right in and started playing. He is such a little stinker, he didn't even want me to take him or pick him up. He want's to ride the dang bus. Becca and I were both pretty sad when we left him there. I can't believe that my baby boy is old enough for school!!

Becca's Shredded Fingers

On Monday Becca and Colby were helping their Papa shred papers in a little paper shredder. Becca didn't let go of the paper and her fingers got shredded a bit. It really wasn't half as bad as I imagined when they called to tell me. It is only on the two fingers, and looks kinda like paper cuts. She was fine that evening.

Maice Working

This is a picture I took the other day at work. The little stinker thinks she has to help with everything. She is now 10 months, and turning into quite a little character. We love her so much.

Dr T's Snake Repellant

Well just so you know it doesn't work!!! Yup you guessed it. We had another snake today. It was a bull snake, so unless it was inside the perimeter when he put the repellent out, it crossed the forbidden line!! If it was inside the line when he put it out, then that means it may work, but this snake is stuck inside the perimeter and it wont go out.....so how many more are stuck inside??? Can't win for loosing with the dang things. They really like our house!!

Dang, it's been a while!!

Well it's finally updated-- for now anyways. Thanks Shell for reminding me that I'm a slacker :)

Snake Count

You may be tired of hearing about this, but as long as we keep having them, I'm posting about them. Our count for this year is 5. That would be 4 in the front yard in the grass, and 1 in the back yard. We actually had 3 snakes in 1 day!! 1 bull snake in the morning. Chris convinced me into leaving it in the grass because it would keep the rattlesnakes away. BOY WAS HE WRONG! Later that afternoon when he got home from work we were headed out the front door and we spotted a rattlesnake in the grass. He killed it, walked to the back yard and opened up the sprinkler system control box, and there was another rattlesnake in there. Really 3 snakes in one day is WAY to much for me!! Chris's parents are bringing us some snake repellent tomorrow-cross your fingers that it works!!

Becca's Dance Class

Becca went to a summer camp at the dance studio this past week-- SHE LOVED IT. They learned a new dance everyday to a Disney Fairytale along with the story and a craft that went along with each one. It was nice to let her do something for her. She is always getting drug around to things that are just for Colby, she really needed this. (she is in the black skirt)
